OUR MISSION

The Learning Disabilities Association of Simcoe County (LDASC) is dedicated to assisting people with learning disabilities within our communities reach their full potential.

We do not endorse any particular method, therapy, treatment, institution, opinion expressed, or the methods described through our public meetings, guest speakers, Resource Library, newsletters, or products.
We do endorse your right to know about them.

WHO ARE WE?

The Learning Disabilities Association of Simcoe County sprouted from a parent group and became an official chapter of the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario (LDAO) in 1991.

We have assisted many families to become aware of and access appropriate programming for their children in the public and separate school systems. We have also provided information on the many kinds of learning disabilities as well as on the organizations and professionals available to help those with LD's.

We provide programming to enhance children's social skills and an adult's ability to realize their full potential and gain meaningful employment.

A different way of learning can lead to success!

The Learning Disabilities Association of Simcoe County wishes to sincerely thank the Ontario Trillium Foundation for their continued support and encouragement.
